IS CANNABIS RIGHT FOR ME?
Is Cannabis Right for me?
Cannabis affects everyone differently. The strain you select and the way you consume it can give a completely different effect. And every individual will react differently. As a new user you may feel different effects than someone with more experience with Cannabis use. Some individuals don’t feel any effects at all the first time they try cannabis. Many people who use cannabis find the experience to be kind of relaxing and a little euphoric. Others may feel more outgoing and social. And again others may feel tired, anxious, or paranoid. The rule of thumb is, if you’re not sure how cannabis will affect you, start slow and with a low dosage. Ask our budtenders if they have any recommendations on strains, products, and doses to start with. They may end up being your Best Budz
How Long Does It Take To Feel The Effects Of An Edible
This is an impossible question to answer, as it will depend on your individual metabolism. If you have fast metabolism you may feel the effects after about an hour, while slower metabolisms may not feel anything for two hours or more. It may also take up to four four hours to feel the full effect of a product after eating or drinking cannabis. Therefore it is recommended that you wait this amount of time before consuming more. Again the best rule of thumb if you are new to edibles is to go slow and learn what’s right for you, and always pay attention to the label for dosing and recommended serving size. The Best Budz Budtenders are here to help you figure this out.
What is CBD
Cannabidiol (CBD) is a cannabinoid molecule produced by the plant and is the second most common in cannabis. CBD is known for its ability to act on the cannabinoid receptors that are part of our endocannabinoid system. CBD unlike THC is special in that it does not cause the intoxicating effects of THC and it has shown to provide a broad range of potential medical benefits including helping with anxiety, inflammation, pain, and seizures. Therefore CBD products are viewed as therapeutic. CBD is available as an oil or in capsule form. It can also be applied topically as a cream, inhaled or ingested.
What is THC?
THC is the component in cannabis that is primarily responsible for its intoxicating, psychoactive effects. The consumption of THC in cannabis products can produce a variety of desired effects, however over consumption or by selecting a product with a high potency can produce less desirable, negative, or even harmful effects. Of the more than 100 cannabinoids in the cannabis plant, tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) is the most abundant and the one principally responsible for the psychoactive effects of cannabis consumption.
